The Sorbonne C1 – Literature is addressed to all candidates who are holders of the Sorbonne B2 certificate.
Since 1961, it is being granted by the Paris – Sorbonne (Paris IV) University.
In this case, the candidates only are tested on the Literature and Oral Components, after they have confirmed their grades from the Sorbonne B2 certificate, dividing the total of the grade by two. (e.g. Sorbonne B2 grade 60/100 = Sorbonne C1 grade 30/50)
The following table presents thoroughly, the content of the components and their corresponding grades for each. The candidate that scores a total of 50/100 or more, in the writing and oral components combined, is considered successful, taken into account that the writing grades aren’t below 5/25 and oral grades aren’t below 5/25.
